Kweku Darlington boasts of being one of Ghana’s finest song writers
Kumasi-based hiplife musician Kweku Darlington in an interview claims to be one of the very best when it comes to song writing in Ghana.
Comparing his situation to that of Daddy Lumba, he said Lumba was not appreciated when he was doing active music and so does he also feels.
‘At the time Daddy Lumba started, we didn’t see him as a legend. It is now that we are seeing and appreciating his talent.
As for me, I’m saying it here. Whether you like it or not, Ghanaians and the world are witnessing one of the best songwriters ever in Ghana,’ he said on New Day on TV3.
Darlington is widely known to Ghanaians for his breakthrough song Sika Aba Fie.
