The Real Madrid management seems aware of the caliber of skill they have in Camavinga, and they have no intention of saying goodbye to the Champions League winner any time soon. This was demonstrated by the response from Eduardo Camavinga’s agent Joshua Barnett to rumors that Chelsea might sign the midfielder in January.
Camavinga is regarded as one of the top young players in the world of football and is predicted to become one of the best in the game, but he has suffered mightily this season at Madrid and has only started five la Liga games.
According to reports, the Blues were reportedly interested in signing the young midfielder in January 2023 because of his lack of playing time in Madrid – Graham Potter is a huge fan.
Camavinga, who is only 20 years old, is one of the most gifted young midfielders in the world of football and has experience that belies his youth. He has, however, struggled to get playing time at the Santiago Bernabeu this year, and as a result, rumors of a short-term transfer abroad have surfaced.
Despite all the rumors, Barnett responded to the links and stated that Camavinga would not be leaving Madrid during this transfer window. Barnett stated: “There is no truth.
“Of course every club in the world would want him, but he’s very happy in Real Madrid and Real Madrid are very happy with Camavinga.”
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti insists he has “complete confidence” in the Chelsea’s target – Ancelotti has said: “I really believe in him.
“Admittedly, I’ve taken him off a number of times at the end of the first half and I haven’t always been fair to him in this respect.
“But I have complete confidence in him.”
Camavinga’s representative Joshua Barnett has informed journalist Fabrizio Romano that his client will not be leaving the Spanish capital this month despite his limited playing time under Carlo Ancelotti, which is unfortunate from the perspective of the Emirates faithful and Chelsea, who were also connected.
